The free plan is now the Starter plan at a symbolic $1/year — same limits as before (25 links/month, 1,000 clicks, bio page, QR codes). The small fee keeps spammers and scammers off the platform so gofwd.to links stay trusted.

Pro also got cheaper: now $4.99/month, or $29.88/year ($2.49/month billed annually).

gofwd.to now follows your system's dark mode preference, everywhere — landing page, dashboard, bio pages. Prefer to pick yourself? Use the sun/moon toggle in the header; your choice sticks across visits.

The MCP server now speaks OAuth. Add https://mcp.gofwd.to/mcp as a custom connector in claude.ai (Settings → Connectors), sign in, approve access — done. No API keys to copy around; you can revoke access anytime by signing out sessions.

API keys keep working everywhere they did before, including Claude Code.

The API now covers everything the dashboard can do: analytics, dynamic QR codes (including delete), and your bio page are all available under /v1 with an API key. See the full endpoint list on the API Keys page.

Two new ways to let AI agents drive gofwd.to: a ready-made agent skill for shell-capable agents like Claude Code, and an MCP server at mcp.gofwd.to for everything else. Ask your agent to shorten a link, repoint a QR code, or summarize last week's clicks.

Simplified the URL input across the app. No more separate protocol dropdown — just paste or type your full URL. If you paste a link that already has https://, it won't double up.

Short links now display without the https:// prefix for a cleaner look, while still linking correctly.

You can now bring your own domain to gofwd.to. Short links created under a custom domain only resolve on that domain, keeping everything cleanly separated.

Powered by Cloudflare for SaaS — just add a CNAME record and your branded short links are live.

Top Links table now shows destination URLs and the actual date range being viewed. Chart hover behavior is smoother with better tooltip positioning.
